Welcome to a true “full service” interior design company located in
Melbourne, Florida. We opened in 1957 as a
furniture store with home decorators “on staff.” After 20 years we had grown to a
four-store operation, specializing in residential and commercial interior design. An effort to be a full service
interior design firm meant lining up quality sources for
furniture and flooring of all types, wall coverings, window treatments, lamps,
accessories, art, and more. It also required the availability of skilled fabricators and installers to implement
these services.
We have evolved into Porter Baxter Interior Design with six interior designers and three
locations, all in the Melbourne, Florida area. We have been serving
Brevard County and the Florida Space Coast since 1957.
